Required Ad Information
Personal Information:
Name, email address, and phone number:
We need this information in case we have any questions about the content of your ad before we post it online. We want more than one way of reaching you so that there won't be much, if any, delay in getting your ad posted. This information will NOT appear in the ad we post.
Ad Details:
Ad Department:
Selecting the best department, or category, for your ad is important in making it easier for people to find it.
Ad Title:
People are most likely to skim the titles of ads and only stop to read the content if the title catches their eye and seems of interest to them. Please go easy on capitalization. All caps is considered the equivalent of shouting online.
Ad URL:
Do you have a website for your organization or for details about the advertised topic? Somewhere that people can learn a little more about you? Or maybe you have a web page with more information to guide them to. Either way there should be something relevant to your ad placed here.
The URL must begin with "http://" or it will not work! If you have no URL to put here, just leave the "http://" in the field and it will go through.
Also, the URL merges with the the title to become a hyper-link in the ad posted to the site.
Ad Body:
Include details of what you are advertising here. There is no longer a limit on length, but please be reasonable.
We don't recommend including your URL in the body of your ad. If you do, it will not be a clickable link, and it will be changed to the same ClickThru link as the title uses, so that we will be able to track the success of your ad. This may look a bit odd, and may be confusing to readers, so we don't recommend you include the URL in the body of the ad at all.
Payment:
There is currently no payment required for placing an ad on this site.
Approval:
Ads that are appropriate for our audience will appear on the site by the end of the next business, because they must first be approved by a staff member. (We won't be approving any ads for puppies or jewelry, for example.)
